On 21st January 2011 a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Nepal Traditional Handicraft and Training Center (NTHTC) and Joy Foundation Nepal. For a period of three months a future cooperation should be identified and assistance given to NTHTC by JOY in matters of management. NTHTC was established in 2006 with the aim to preserve, protect, and contribute toward Nepal’s traditional art. JOY and NTHTC are cooperating to bring more attention to traditional art, to provide young people with skills and a vision for their future. JOY is providing young people with scholarships and vocational trainings. The NTHTC cooperation is part of JOYs FEAT program.
