In collaboration with one of JOY’s major partners ‘Tilganga Eye Center’ it has been providing cataract surgeries and other eye care services. Tilganga Eye Center is the first institution in Nepal which is awarded as fulfilling International Standards of ISO 90002 / EN46002 for its Intra-ocular lens. It is the only Intra-ocular Lens laboratory in the region.

JOY has a very strong Network that has helped in the past to realize projects related to its main objectives. With NAFA JOY is sharing a long term co-operation in various activities, such as Further Education and Training for Youth (FEAT) and in a yearly joint eye camp. JOY also provides NAFA office space during their yearly stays in Nepal and assist them in monitoring and evaluation of their projects during their absence.

In the Protestant Church Development Service (EED) from Germany JOY has a partner since 2009. EED supports JOY through technical support, esp. focusing on educational programs and organization development.

The work of JOY is also based on the cooperation with national Network Partner and individual Philanthropists from all around the world. Through the cooperation with these partners JOY was able to achieve several of its goals and reach more people.
