JOY Foundation Nepal was established in 15th November 1996 by a group of Nepalese youths to collectively deliver the services and assistance to the community and marginalized people in the society led by its Founder President Mr. Babu Kaji Shrestha.

Joy Programs
JOY mainly focuses on activities in the fields of Health and Education. In this context JOY has been organizing eye camps, cataract surgeries, health camps, awareness programs and environmental activities. JOY also sponsors disadvantaged students and supports better education for children with disabilities. It organizes and finances trainings and programs for teachers, social workers and special needs educators. JOY has established an efficient network of organizations specialized on issues mentioned which has made it possible to conduct different programs
Joy Foundation Nepal’s General program includes helping the marginalized children for better education and better future. Also, helping the needy organization who works for benefits of children has always aimed by Joy foundation Nepal.

JOY along with Nepal Australia friendship association (NAFA), Queensland has actively participated in many Eye care camps organized by Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology in different parts of the country.
