Message From President

We are thrilled to announce that Joy Foundation Nepal has recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary, marking a quarter-century of dedicated social welfare service. As the saying goes, “Your greatness is not what you have, it is what you give.” We firmly believe that the most profound joy in life is derived from serving humanity, the planet, and all sentient beings. As humans, we have been blessed with the ability to empathize with others and to understand their needs.

We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the executives, life members, honorary members, associate organizations, supporters, and families who have joined hands with us and helped us achieve this milestone. It is through your unwavering support and encouragement that we have been able to carry out numerous free eye cataract camps in remote villages across Nepal, and even in the prisons of Kathmandu.

Joy Foundation has also been actively involved in blood donation, free health camps, environmental activities, natural disaster relief, providing scholarships to the needy, and collaborating with other social welfare organizations and individuals in need.

We are proud to report that, to date, we have helped restore the sight of 30,000 people suffering from cataract blindness through free eye camps conducted in various districts of Nepal. Our goal is to continue working together to help more people see a better world and live better lives in the days ahead. While our work is challenging, the impact it has on people’s lives can be transformative and far-reaching.

We hope that you are inspired by the stories of those whose lives we have touched, and we encourage you to continue “Sharing the joy of giving” with us.

Sincerely,
Babu Kaji Shrestha
