Teacher Training and Book Distribution in Sankhu

From 6th to 8th of April 2011 a teacher training was conducted at Sangam Secondary School in Sankhu by Joy Foundation Nepal. A total of sixteen teachers participated in the training workshop and gained knowledge on teaching methods and the systemic nature of education. Furthermore Joy Foundation Nepal provided the school with books to extend their library and encourage students as well as teacher to work and learn with different materials. The training was conducted by a team of education experts from Germany and Australia. The participants were very appreciative towards the inputs during the training and committed to implement at least three new things they have learned during the workshop.
